Kentucky Dam Lock Addition: Bridges Substructures

Project included the construction of new substructure piers and abutments on drilled shaft foundations for two new bridges across the Tennessee River at the TVA Kentucky Dam. Approximately 18,289 cubic yards of mass concrete placed, including thermal instrumentation and monitoring to ensure compliance with specifications for maximum peak and differential temperatures.
